Talc Mining Extraction

Talc mining & extraction process plays an important role before milling process.
After the talc ore is mined it is then washed to remove mud, dirt, foreign particles and other impurities by sand washing machine. The material is then naturally dried under the sun light.

After drying it is dressed and sorted depending on their talc content, brightness and other parameters. Techniques include hand sorting, state-of-the-art laser and image analysis technology or flotation. Bulk talc, or talc grain will be collected. It is then analyzed & crushed after which it is transported to the milling works.

In the talc crushing plant, large size talc will be crushed into small grain which is suitable for grinding. The most widely used talc crusher is jaw crusher, cone crusher, impact crusher. The talc crusher can reduce the sorted talc ore into 2mm in a capacity of 1000 tons per hour.
